“Kings Beads" are wonderful old Venetian wound bicone beads. These rare green King Beads date back to the mid 1800s. Still used today in Ghana, one can see these beads in Dipo Initiation ceremonies in Krobo Odumase, Ghana. Juxtaposed to the green beads are brilliant blue satin Murano glass beads, vintage turquoise glass beads and contemporary recycled turquoise and cobalt glass beads made in Eastern Ghana.
