From glass to lava this necklace contains a great range of materials. The brown and white handmade glass beads from Ghana referred to as Mete, are wound glass with white glass powdered decorations. Frosted Ghanaian glass separates the Mete beads from the silvery white luminous beads.
These white beads are satin finish vintage Murano Glass circa 1960. The transparent handmade Czech glass beads are circa 1920.
Matte black lava beads bring great contrast to this piece. Petrified palm wood anchors this necklace while a sterling silver clasp and extender chain finishes this piece.
