The colors in this necklace are typical 50's colors. There are vintage Murano glass beads circa 1950-1970 of acid green satin and brown glass beads with aventurine sparkle. The brown and white handmade glass beads from Ghana referred to as “Mete,” are wound glass with white glass powdered decorations. This necklace also contains brilliant emerald glass beads from Nigeria. Hand made Ethiopian copper beads complete the necklace. There is a sterling silver S shaped clasp.
